What we move

Four ways we carry the weight.

01

Home Moves

From a studio in Makati to a family house in Alabang, packed, wrapped, and settled by the same crew, start to finish.

02

Office Relocation

Move the company over a weekend and open Monday like nothing happened. Zero downtime, fully project-managed.

03

International

Door-to-door across borders through the Asian Tigers network and FIDI-FAIM corridors. Customs handled. Nothing lost.

04

Storage & Pack

Climate-aware, inventoried, insured storage for the in-between. Your things wait safely until you're ready.

05

Move Management

Corporate and assignee relocations managed end-to-end, policy, budget, and people, handled with one point of contact.

06

Fine Art & Specialty

Pianos, antiques, fine art, and the irreplaceable. Custom crating and white-glove handling to museum standard.

Since 1977

Two generations.
One promise.

Lane Moving & Storage began in 1977, Gerry Lane and a crew of eleven, moving Manila's families and businesses with a standard the industry hadn't seen. Forty-nine years and a second generation later, the family still signs off on every international move.

How it works

Four steps. Zero surprises.

  1. 01

    Quote

Tell us what's moving. A real human replies, often within the hour.

  2. 02

    Plan

A survey, a fixed scope, a date. You know exactly what happens and when.

  3. 03

    Move

One crew, fully insured, FIDI-grade packing. We treat it like ours.

  4. 04

    Settled

Unpacked, placed, checked off. We don't leave until you're home.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Can I bring my household goods to the Philippines duty-free?

Often, yes. Returning Filipinos and many visa-holders can import used personal and household effects duty-free, provided they've been owned and used for at least 6 months and aren't in commercial quantities. We handle the Bureau of Customs paperwork and a licensed broker for you.

How long does shipping to the Philippines take?

Ocean freight runs roughly 4-6 weeks from the US, 6-8 from Europe, and 2-4 from Asia; air freight is 3-7 days. Allowing for survey, customs, and delivery, door-to-door is typically 8-14 weeks end to end.

How far in advance should I book my move?

For an international move, start 2-4 months ahead to allow time for the survey, documentation, customs prep, and shipping. For a local move within the Philippines, 2-4 weeks is ideal, though we can often move faster when needed.

Do you offer storage and insurance?

Yes. We have secure, climate-controlled warehousing with 24/7 monitoring, short or long term, and all-risk insurance covering the full replacement value of your goods, in transit and in storage.

Can you move pianos, fine art, and antiques?

Yes, our specialist Fine Arts division does museum-grade packing and crating, trusted by Manila's top museums and galleries. Every irreplaceable piece gets a custom crate and white-glove handling.

How fast will I hear back?

Under 60 seconds on your first contact, whether you message on WhatsApp, fill the form, or call. A real person follows up, and we move quickly to book your free survey.
