What we move
From a studio in Makati to a family house in Alabang — packed, wrapped, and settled by the same crew, start to finish.
Move the company over a weekend and open Monday like nothing happened. Zero downtime, fully project-managed.
Door-to-door across borders through the Asian Tigers network and FIDI-FAIM corridors. Customs handled. Nothing lost.
Climate-aware, inventoried, insured storage for the in-between. Your things wait safely until you're ready.
Corporate and assignee relocations managed end-to-end — policy, budget, and people, handled with one point of contact.
Pianos, antiques, fine art, and the irreplaceable. Custom crating and white-glove handling to museum standard.
Since 1977
Lane Moving & Storage began in 1977 — Gerry Lane and a crew of eleven, moving Manila's families and businesses with a standard the industry hadn't seen. Forty-nine years and a second generation later, the family still signs off on every international move.
“The difference is that we care.” — the line we've kept since 1977
How it works
Tell us what's moving. A real human replies, often within the hour.
A survey, a fixed scope, a date. You know exactly what happens and when.
One crew, fully insured, FIDI-grade packing. We treat it like ours.
Unpacked, placed, checked off. We don't leave until you're home.
Why Lane
“Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness.”
“They took GREAT care of us!”
“The best company — honest, clean, good service. I used them three times. Excellent.”
Good to know
Often, yes. Returning Filipinos and many visa-holders can import used personal and household effects duty-free, provided they've been owned and used for at least 6 months and aren't in commercial quantities. We handle the Bureau of Customs paperwork and a licensed broker for you.
Ocean freight runs roughly 4–6 weeks from the US, 6–8 from Europe, and 2–4 from Asia; air freight is 3–7 days. Allowing for survey, customs, and delivery, door-to-door is typically 8–14 weeks end to end.
For an international move, start 2–4 months ahead to allow time for the survey, documentation, customs prep, and shipping. For a local move within the Philippines, 2–4 weeks is ideal — though we can often move faster when needed.
Yes. We have secure, climate-controlled warehousing with 24/7 monitoring — short or long term — and all-risk insurance covering the full replacement value of your goods, in transit and in storage.
